For the first seven years we were a development shop. Companies brought us a specification, we built it, and often our name appeared nowhere near the result. From 2018 we ran as a white-label subcontractor for a HubSpot Diamond Partner, which is where the operations side of this business actually comes from: years of CRM, pipeline and revenue work, delivered under someone else's brand. In 2022 we became a certified Laravel partner for the custom application work.
The pattern was hard to miss by the end. A client would ask for a tool, and the tool would be the third or fourth most useful thing we could have built for them. The money was sitting in the handoffs: the quote that waited two days for an approval, the data retyped into a second system, the report a person rebuilt every Monday morning. Nobody had asked which of those was worth fixing first, because that is a different job from building.
So we took that job. In 2023 we renamed the company 2V Automation, stopped taking general development work, and made the diagnostic the first thing we sell. The engineering did not go anywhere. It just stopped being the thing we lead with.
